Q1:
If I submit my site to a search engine will that place me in the top position?

A1: Probably not.  You'll need to optimize your site through the use of META tags.  The title, description, and keywords need to accurately describe your website in order for the search engines to properly find it on the Internet and rank your page.

Q2: How does my site get reviewed by others once I submit it to a link/traffic exchange?

A2: After your site has been accepted by the exchange you'll be required to visit the site and surf web pages.  These are web pages that were submitted in the same manner as yours.  When the web page opens within a surf window a timer begins to count down to zero, then you are then instructed to click to continue.  Usually for every 2 pages you view, the exchange will direct another surfer to your page.  The traffic quality of this type of exchange is usually good traffic because visitors are actually looking at your site.  The link/traffic exchanges are explained in further detail under the link for traffic exchanges.

Q3:
Exactly how does purchasing leads help to expand my business?

A3: Purchasing leads has got to be one of the fastest and easiest ways to grow your business.  There are several companies that place forms all over the Internet...you've probably filled out one or two yourself at one time or another.  These forms collect information from individuals that are seeking information; for example, information about starting their own business.  These companies then sell this information to buyers that are looking for good contacts, or leads.  These are called opt-in, or permission-based leads.  This also protects you from spamming violations.

Q4: What is spamming and can I get in trouble for it?

A4:
Spam is any commercial e-mail that the recipient has not asked for.  It is illegal and your Internet Service Provider (ISP) can shut you down for violations.
